G3 announces today the launch of it’s new App for MSM Security, an Innoviss Company, in support of their work for the US Government. This marks one of the first dedicated mobile apps to be available via iTunes in support of a US Government contract. A simialr App has been available on Google Play for nearly a month now. Blackberry and Windows Phone versions are next.
G3 announces its latest division, G3 Aviation headed by Will Silvestre (US Navy – Ret). Will has an excellent track record of military service as well as training work in the private sector. G3 will be announcing new opportunities publicly sometime in Q2 2012. Our work in this area is in response to the need to make aviation safer and more reliable using state of the art technologies from G3 as well as our time tested training solutions that we have perfected over the last 20 years. This effort will be supported by a team from MediaTech, LLC out of Centerville, IA.

G3 is announcing today, that by January 1, 2012 it will be making available the new Safety-Check Application at Safety-Check.org and on the Android Marketplace and the iTunes App Store. This application can be used by private citizens to input just 4 pieces of information found on the Virginia Drivers License of anyone who wants to legally purchase a weapon from a private seller and the App will tell the seller if that person is legally able to purchase that weapon. This can be used by anyone for FREE. The App is designed to adress a long-standing concern of what some call the “gun show loophole”. This so called loophole is not really specific to gun shows, yet private sellers can be found at gun shows. And it is really a loophole since there is no law requiring private citizens to obtain information about a buyer like a gun dealer is forced to. So, seeing a need, G3 decided to build an App for a problem that crying out for a solution. Now, sellers who want to sell a weapon with the added assurance that the individual that is buying the gun is legally allowed to possess it can do so for FREE in 30 seconds with this App. It protects buyer and sellers alike as well as provides a non-invasive method for moral and legal compliance. It also protects our community and our families. This is the first App that G3 has done in the Legal and Law Enforcement area and is the start of a new division for G3 called G3 Legal. This App would not have been possible without the encouragement and the inspiration provided by Matt Geary who recently joined G3 as in house counsel and advisor for this and other projects. Matt has both prosecuted and defended capital cases involving gun violence and knows all too well the impact that gun violence has on families, our communities and our Commonwealth. Matt encouraged G3 to develop the App in response to what he saw was a need to offer “an easy to use, cost effective, common sense solution.” And G3 was happy to accommodate him. A gun enthusiast himself, Matt knows how important the 2nd Amendment is and wanted to provide a tool for voluntary compliance in a way that made sense for others to be able to use without infringing on anyone’s rights. G3 is pleased to announce it has retained Matt Geary to serve as In-House Counsel for G3 Systems, Inc. in order to offer strategic advice on a number of upcoming projects. The extensive Trademark support that G3 gets from Gary LeClair at LeClair Ryan and Tom Grant from Troutman Sanders will continue unchanged as it has since 1993. Mr. Geary will be advising G3 on new upcoming training solutions in the Law Enforcement arena as well as upcoming products for eDiscovery in the legal area. When asked why G3 chose Mr. Geary, Gordon Miller, CEO of G3 said “Matt has the unique qualifications of having been a prosecutor on capital cases as well as a civil and criminal defense attorney. Matt is one of the few people in Richmond with the full range of experience necessary to advise G3 on our upcoming products.” Mr. Miller further added “Mr. Geary also has considerable experience working with the law enforcement community. G3 is working to migrate our current Government and Military Training into a civilian law enformancement arena. Mr. Geary has been very helpeful already in establishing communications with the Virginia State Police Tactical Team that may benefit from some of the work G3 has already done for the US Army Military Police.”
Users have more options than ever when it comes to tablets. Since some features are more important than others, I have reposted this here as a reference. G3 has tested most of these devices and most all fall well short of the iPad. The new HTC device and the HP device are the best so far, but other than running flash fall well short of the iPad.

The lunch was highlighted by Sentator Mark Warner and his stirring look at the reality of the US Federal Debt. It was a great event.
G3 has now completed our acquisition of all the domains for our new divisions. G3 Systems, Inc. will now be know as G3. The various divisions will all be focused on their specific niche markets including G3 Systems, G3 Government, G3 Healthcare, G3 Financial and G3 Simulations. April 27, 2011: G3 Systems, Inc. gets our first App approved for the App Store in iTunes. This iPhone and iPad optimized application launched on April 18, 2011 in the Android Marketplace and is now actively selling on iTunes. This App is the culmination of nearly a year of work on the new patented G3 Systems mobile architecture application as well as nearly a year collaboration with best selling authors Ralph Alterowitz and Jon Zonderman on the content for the App. This should be the first of many new Apps that G3 and Alterowitz/Zonderman (A to Z) work on together.
